Keshi pearls are a form of baroque pearls known for their lustre and unique organic shapes, which happens because these pearls don't have a nucleus. The word "Keshi" means ‘poppies’ in Japanese. As they don't have a nucleus, they are made of solid nacre. which gives the unique glow and lustre associated with these pearls.
All pearls require delicate care and should be removed at the end of each day. Contact with perfumes, oils, chlorine, body lotions etc can affect the pearl and cause it to lose lustre.
