Cowrie Shell & Quartz Bangle - Groatie Bucky
A cowrie is deemed to bring luck in Scottish lore.
Perhaps the most enduring and widespread symbolism of the cowrie shell is its connection to the feminine powers of the sea. Emerging from the waves, the cowrie has long been associated with water’s powers of renewal, fertility, nurture and creation.
To wear a cowrie is to carry a piece of the ocean’s magic, a talisman that connects the wearer to the primal, nurturing forces of water and the divine feminine.
Next to the cowrite is a clear quartz charm, a crystal said to protect from negative energy, be healing and bring clarity and emotional stability.
The bangle is made with 2mm round wire, using sustainable recycled sterling silver.
The bangles are a MEDIUM with an inner diameter of 64mm
