The Selkie collection draws inspiration from the folklore of Scotland’s Northern Isles, where selkies, or ‘seal folk’, are said to shed their sealskins to take human form.
In traditional tales, selkies were sometimes held captive by humans who hid their sealskins, preventing their return to the sea. Yet the sea remained their true home, a place of freedom and belonging.
Inspired by this enduring connection, the Selkie collection explores the mystery of the ocean, the beauty of its underwater landscapes and the freedom to return to our own authentic selves.
Selkie Secret
Selkie Secret captures the organic forms of coral and kelp, embracing a piece of soft sea-foam coloured Scottish sea glass. The bright sterling silver brings definition to the intricate textures, creating a design inspired by the hidden world beneath the waves.
