The Selkie collection draws inspiration from the folklore of Scotland’s Northern Isles, where selkies, or ‘seal folk’, are said to shed their sealskins to take human form.

In traditional tales, selkies were sometimes held captive by humans who hid their sealskins, preventing their return to the sea. Yet the sea remained their true home, a place of freedom and belonging.

Inspired by this enduring connection, the Selkie collection explores the mystery of the ocean, the beauty of its underwater landscapes and the freedom to return to our own authentic selves.

Selkie Sky

Textural and organic, this dainty necklace features a sky blue topaz, the vast blue sky above a Selkie ocean home, with a tiny cluster of silver and copper granulations hinting at the glorious warm sunset that will end the day.

Every piece in the Selkie collection is individually handmade and unique.
